As the founder and director of the Safe School Support and Development Center, she coordinates and leads a wide range of professional development programs for schools. Born in Kuyavia and a Katowice resident by choice. A nonconformist thinker, constantly on the move. In life, she follows the principle: “Third time’s the charm… or maybe even the fourth :)”. From a second, more mature choice, she became: a civics teacher, a university lecturer in pedagogy, co-founder and director of the authorial, non-public Bilingual Kindergarten and Primary School “English Montessori School” as well as EMS General Secondary School. She is also a participant in a Montessori school education course, including preschool modules, at the Polish Montessori Institute. By first profession, she is a legal advisor and mediator affiliated with several mediation centers in Poland. For over a decade, thanks to her children, she has been connected with Montessori pedagogy and bilingual education. And for over a decade, she has remained in a state of admiration! Therefore, she actively promotes awareness of the benefits of the Montessori method as a founding member and active advocate of the Polish Montessori Council Association.

For over 40 years, she has lectured on various AMI courses and previously served as Director of Training at the Montessori Institute of San Diego and the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota. In addition to her extensive teaching and training experience, she remains actively involved in the AMI community as a consultant and conference speaker worldwide.
She is also one of the founding members of the AMI Montessori Elementary Alumni Association and served as its president for eight years.
In addition to her other Montessori-related work, she is the author of numerous articles, essays, and brochures on implementing Dr. Maria Montessori’s principles and theories in work with children in the second plane of development. Wioletta Skubera has been running the non-public Montessori nursery and kindergarten Montessori House, as well as Kraków Montessori School, for 16 years. By education, she is a psychologist, Polish language specialist, psychotherapist, and Montessori teacher. Her fascination with Montessori education has continued uninterrupted for 20 years. Both of her daughters completed Montessori education and have successfully entered adult life. In her institutions, she implemented a pioneering psychoeducational program for every child, providing regular support and the development of psychosocial skills from an early age. Privately, her passions include diving, women’s developmental psychology, and travel.

MSc in Mathematics Engineering, special education teacher, Montessori teacher, creator of the Facebook group “Mathematics with Montessori,” and DCEM trainer in Wrocław. For many years, she worked as a mathematics teacher in conventional schools at all levels. She became a Montessori teacher thanks to her — now teenage — twin daughters. First, she discovered Maria Montessori’s philosophy, which emphasizes the child’s independence, and then the developmental materials, which are simply brilliant in the field of mathematics education. Her first experiences working with Montessori materials were gained during workshops and courses at Mountain Montessori School in Żywiec, followed by work in Montessori schools in Katowice and participation in workshops and courses organized by the Polish Montessori Institute (she completed the Montessori Early Elementary Education course for ages 6–9). She systematically enriches her professional practice through self-development and participation in Montessori conferences. On a daily basis, she works according to her original program “Mathematics with Montessori” at the Bilingual Primary School “English Montessori School.” She creates her own materials, instructional booklets for working with developmental materials, methodological guides, and more. For several years, she has had the great pleasure of sharing her knowledge in the Facebook group “Mathematics with Montessori” (2.6 thousand members), during original workshops, and through individual lessons for teachers and parents. Her goal is to inspire as many teachers and parents as possible with Montessori mathematics so that it becomes a common and accessible way of learning mathematics for every student.
